Hummus, like pesto, makes everything better, but the folks at LB in Summertown started with a great product already, something on the daily menu as the “Kufte Kebab,” although I didn’t want to argue about spelling. A few good-sized pieces of kofta, some psychedelically vibrant veg, and a healthy spew of runny hummus made it very difficult to finish the lunchtime run before tearing into the meal (which I did whilst changing clothes in the lab storage room). Probably the healthiest kebab this year (including the one I made at home). Yummy.
