Atomic Fire Water label

DT #335, 1 December 2014 (Atomic Firewater)

Running in the dark.
There’s a hill climb either way.
But, booze greets you soon.

Name: Atomic Firewater
Type: booze
Recipe: vodka, apples, too much cinnamon, a minimum amount of sugar, and 8 weeks to infuse
Venue: house

Review/notes: See the recipe, above: it took so long to make it and I’ll never have that recipe again.  Okay, that was silly, but this is very good.

Update 2 Dec 2014: Sal Ferrara, whose company makes Atomic Fireballs after which the label (above) is patterned, died yesterday. R.I.P.  Here’s the obituary: http://chicagosuntimes.com/news/salvatore-ferrara-ii-dies-grew-ferrara-candy-company-maker-of-lemonheads-and-atomic-fireballs/

The run was pretty much a dealer’s choice: I decided to walk as far as the Oxford Train Station to clear foot traffic in the dark then run to Besselsleigh but as I passed the Bus Station the Swindon bus was pulling in so I decided to just catch it as far as the Gablecross Cop Shop and then run the rest of the way home:

Monthly consolidations/compilations: January
