Primitivo Salento

New boots and contracts,
Or, at least, new running shoes.
And, they’re quite ugly.

Name: Primitivo Salento
Type: red wine
Venue: house

Review/notes: Yeah, sure.  Good red wine at a low price.

My new running shoes arrived today just as the sides blew out of my old ones.  Two pair of Brooks PureFlow to break in this week, and they look like this on the bottom at Day 0 (as compared to the old ones seen in this old post or the ones before that here):

2014-09-01 Day 0 Brooks PureFlow

The last shoes, 3 pairs of Saucony ProGrid Ride, lasted from 25 April 2013 until 31 August 2014 logging 2275 miles in runs and daily wear for the commute (a mile to and from the bus at each end) and travel (we walk towns as though on a death march), so easily 1400-1500 miles on each pair.  Not too shabby.
