Codrington Codger and jogging codger

Twelve hundred fifty
Pubs in sixty-seven months.
At least the pace slowed.

Name: Codrington Codger
Type: bitter
Venue: The Red Bull, near Malmesbury

Review/notes: Quite bitter and floral with almost an American style of hoppiness, but an aftertaste of varnish.  I would seek this out again, and it shouldn’t be hard to find seeing as it is brewed more-or-less in the neighbourhood…closer to where I sat, even, than I had run to get there (or would run the rest of the day following this pint).

The other three beverages on this run (at the Cat & Custard Pot around 10.5 miles, the Horse Guards ~ 12.7 miles, and the Three Cups toward the end) were also quite nice and I really only chose this one for the Daily Tipple because of the 1250th pub involvement.
