Dumb Post Inn Moles Jailers Daughter and pub dog

“Where have you walked from?”
“Lyneham, and it was a run.”
“That is a long walk!”

Name: Jailer’s Daughter
Type: bitter
Venue: The Dumb Post, Bremhill

Review/notes: I had to pick one of the four beers on (or the bottles of wine after) the 15 mile run today (which included four pub stops to be written up tomorrow).  This one had the best photo…I love a pub dog, me.  Mind, the Rising Sun had a lovely Scottie but I didn’t photograph him opting instead to bore the shit out of the landlord.  Moles is always good, though.

Brilliant collection of pubs today: the Rising Sun a great find, the Bell House a stop worth a detour, the Wellesley equal parts dive (in the best ways) and gastro, and the Dumb Post a joy despite pretensions.
