Double Four Lager Three Goats Heads

DT #213, 1 August 2014 (Double Four Lager)

In a leather bar
Served something too big to put
Wholly in my mouth.

Name: Double Four Lager
Type: lager
Venue: Three Goats’ Heads, Oxford

Review/notes: The leather bar in question is The Three Goats’ Heads named for the heraldic signage taken from the Worshipful Company of Cordwainers (an ancient guild of leathermakers).  A Samuel Smith’s bar that I enter every year or so, I’ve been coming here since my first visit to the lab I now spend 40-50 hours per week in.

The lager is very good, one of two SS lagers on tap here.
