Warner Edwards Elderflower Infused Gin

When in the course of
Human events if becomes
Independence Day.

Name: Warner Edwards Elderflower Infused Gin
Type: booze
Venue: Magnum Wine, Old Town, Swindon

Review/notes: Unlike yesterday’s encounter with the fellow who declared independence from his pants, today was a relatively normal work day (albeit the first one I have ever had anyone outside the US wish me a Happy 4th, weirdos).

On the way home I stopped in the Magnum for a few bottles of wine and my buddy behind the counter asked if I like gin…silly boy. He knows I infuse spirits and just had a gin tasting session a few days earlier which included this Elderflower Infused Gin. Subtle and sublime and only slightly sweet from the added sugar, the wee dram he poured me lingered until late tonight, the elder perfume evoking Proustian memories.  Better than I deserve.
