Kingston Fisheries, Chinnor, Oxfordshire, Chippy Challenge #44   1 comment

Kingston Fisheries Chinnor cod

[The Chippy Challenge: to eat more fish and chips in 2014; see original post for details.]

Fish: cod
Sides: none
Evaluation: A bit greasy and a very thinly sliced portion for £4 but it tasted good enough.  There is a handwritten sign in the window stating that you get a free portion of chips with every piece of fish on Mondays, so I suspect that Restaurant Rules #6 and #7 apply here:

RR #6: Never order fish on Monday (leftover from the weekend and before the next delivery)

RR #7: Never, ever eat fish if it is a Chef’s Special (they are trying to move it fast before Health and Safety can no longer be ignored).
Days since last: 5 (Oxford University Club)
