Spring in the Chilterns:
Ancient villagers cycling
To ancient taverns.

Name: Brakspear Bitter
Type: bitter
Venue: Ye Olde Leathern Bottel, Lewknor

Review/notes: Brakspear is always a treat, especially in the first half mile of an easy run. After that I ran a beautiful 8 mile loop through along the Chiltern hillsides from Lewknor to Watlington and back that took me to the first new pubs (for the blog) in nearly three months.  Made the most of the trip, grabbing a fish lunch in Watlington and chatting to some cycling pensioners at one of the pubs.  Finished the day with Cinema Paradiso, the final film of the Swindon Film Society season (and only one more than a year old).

[DT =Daily Tipple, explained in DT #000 here]

Monthly consolidations/compilations: January
