Sides: chips and mushy peas
Evaluation: I’ve had worse fish and chips and worse service, recently in fact, so this was a bit of a delight. I’m not a big fan of Jude the Obscure to begin with but was in Jericho to meet up with someone anyway and it was lunchtime…whatthehell, right? The fish was flaky but still a bit overcooked or stored frozen too long, but the chips were fluffy inside and the whole thing was passable even if the batter was a bit bland. I really need to focus on chippies over pubs, though.
