The Red Lion, Marston, Oxon   7 comments

Snagged this from Google Earth...I was an irresponsible photographer that night

I found the Red Lion by running across the University Parks then up Old Marston Road which became Oxford Road as I entered Marston.  The Public bar was empty, but the Lounge had about a dozen Oxford hashers in it and I settled into a seat with a pint of Abbot…it’s a Greene King pub, but a very good one.

This was a good location for me to run from work…about 2.5 miles to the pub then about another 1.5 to the bus stop home.  It also holds a lot of potential as a pub crawl stop, surrounded as it is by several other palatable pubs in the area.  During the hash tonight, I was lucky enough to find a few of these.

Here’s the Oxford Hash House Harriers ‘Hash Trash’ related to this trip: http://www.oxfordh3.org/wordpress/?p=37

Leaving the pub at evening's end, I remembered to snap a shot, such as it is
