Hopping off the bus in Highworth for a kebab on my way back from Filkins, I found the kebab place closed but the Plough open. When I entered, the rugby match I was watching in the Five Alls was wrapping up but the Welsh had made up a lot of the deficit (so I lingered while the Irish ran out the clock), enjoying a perfect pint of 3B’s.
It is a sport bar and there were big matches coming up on tele for local, Premier League, and International fans. But, being none of those and seeing the beautiful weather outside I took my leave.
