Not really much to say about the Granta. It has a great location on a back stream deadend of the Cam, and punt rentals below. It catered mostly to students when I visited yesterday which is probably why the IPA was so cheap. It has a lot of outdoor seating and a pretty standard but large food menu.
If I still had any older family members that were likely to visit this is probably where I would take them. The dining room/bar area is pretty nice in that touristy way: it’s almost like a tearoom. I could get liquored up then corral them into a punt and work off some of the booze before returning for another pint. Thank god none of that will come to pass.
